Happy New Year! I thought I would start off this year by taking a quick look at last year. So here are our VC numbers for the fall.
- 162 – student VC events at the elementary level
- 4281 students participating at the elementary level
- 7 – student VC events at the secondary level
- 150 students participating at the secondary level
- 169 student VC events overall. These events include content providers and classroom to classroom connections.
- 4431 students from 30 different campuses participated in a VC
- 5+ professional development VC events (This count was not kept as carefully as the student events.)
Overall, we did 3 times the amount of VCs this fall than in the same time period last year! That is amazing! We had a 57% participation rate from the schools that have videoconferencing capabilities. This is down from 73% from last year, but still not bad.
Overall I am very pleased. I want to thank my building cart managers for their hard work and dedication. The growth we have experienced would not be possible without them. I’m looking forward to a great, and busy:-), spring.
